Case Study 1:
This customer ended up selecting Option 3 for a variety of reasons.
Moving the refrigerator closer to the work triangle was her initial goal.
An added benefit to this move was a more viable work area below the microwave.
It is actually big enough now to support a recycle center and a pop-up mixer.
This particular kitchen has Richlite Countertops and we wanted to make sure it could be installed without
any seams. In this case the layout also reflected the maximum sheet sizes available for this material.
The real prize to this floor plan, however, was the customer’s request for a stand up kitchen office.
The diagonal cabinet next to the pantry serves as a message center with a fold out laptop computer.
This message center provides an great way for managing music, researching something online or
emailing compliments to your cabinetmaker.
