Painted Cabinets & Resale Consideration

If you look around this website you will notice a trend.......most of the kitchens are painted white.

There’s a simple reason for this:     Most of our customers want a white kitchen.

If resale is a consideration it might be worthwhile to think about a white painted kitchen.

Since the majority of people buying kitchens from us seem to want a white painted kitchen,

the majority of people shopping for houses probably want a white painted kitchen too.

There are several reasons for this:

White painted cabinets bounce light better.

A kitchen with white painted cabinets is always brighter  than any kitchen with  dark wood cabinets.

Bright kitchens are a pretty big deal in the Northwest.

Kitchens with white painted cabinets are easier to accessorize.

Everything goes well with white.  It’s always looks great.

Painted white cabinets are easier to maintain over time. 

When they need to be freshened up you can touch them up with a paintbrush. 

There are not a lot of effective ways to refinish other types of cabinets.
